Wole Arisekola, Two Other Mogajis Set For Promotion In Ibadan Traditional Hierarchy

Following the death of a High Chief and two other traditional rulers, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has nominated three Mogajis to fill the vacant positions in the Ibadan traditional hierarchy.

The nominees are: Mogaji Wole Arisekola, Mogaji Kabiru Ademola Makinde, and Mogaji Charles Durosaro.

According to a statement issued by the Administrative Secretary, Olubadan-in-Council Traditional Chiefs, Sanusi Akinkunmi, the nominees were selected following consultations with members of the Olubadan-in-Council.

He noted that the move was aimed at addressing vacancies within the traditional structure and ensuring the continued functioning of the Ibadan chieftaincy institution.

The nomination of the three Mogajis marks another step in the process of maintaining continuity within Ibadan’s long-standing traditional hierarchy, with the nominees now positioned to take on responsibilities within the institution.
