Mahnatez International School, Oluyole, a fast-rising childhood education promoter located in Ibadan, has organized its 2026 Inter-House Sports Competition.

It is a usual custom of the citadel of learning to bring students together, promoting teamwork, discipline, and encouraging healthy competition.
The sporting event was held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.

The annual Inter-House Sports Competition, according to parents and guardians, is a fun way to break the academic routine, make friends, and create lifelong memories. It also enables them to see their kids develop the spirit of sportsmanship and connect with one another, teachers, and other parents, building a stronger school community.

In her message at the sporting event, organized to develop the physical and mental wellness of the pupils, the founder and Proprietress of Mahnatez International School, Hajia Bolatito Adebisi, described it as a remarkable occasion in the life of the school, not only to compete but to celebrate unity, talent, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The United States-trained school administrator explained that Inter-House sports are a platform where students learn invaluable life lessons of teamwork, perseverance, resilience, and the spirit of healthy competition.

“It is a time when the classroom extends beyond four walls into the field, where character is tested, friendships are strengthened, and future champions are born,” Hajia Adebisi added.

Grandma Adebisi, as she is usually called, charged the students to be good ambassadors of their respective houses. She encouraged them to give their best, ensure they play fair, and uphold the values of integrity and respect for one another.
”Remember, victory is not only in winning medals but in demonstrating courage, discipline, and unity.”

Hajia Adebisi valued the contributions of both parents and staff of the institution, urging them to continue to do their best for their kids and the school.
”To our parents and guardians, we sincerely appreciate your continuous support and partnership. Your presence here today is a testament to your commitment to the holistic development of your children. We do not take this for granted.

“To our hardworking staff and organizers, I commend your tireless efforts in planning and preparing for this event. Your dedication ensures that our students enjoy a safe, organized, and memorable experience,” she said.
In their separate remarks, the Father of the Day, Engineer Femi Babalola (Jogor) and Alhaja Olanrewaju Otiti, lauded the initiative of the Proprietress to bring out the students outside their comfort zone (classrooms) and engage them in extracurricular exercise to balance their education.

They charged the parents to observe their kids with the aim of discovering the talents they are endowed with and nurturing them to prominence.
Four houses participated in the sporting and fun-filled event: Ruby (Red) House, Sapphire (Blue) House, Peridot (Green) House, and Amber (Yellow) House. At the end of the day, Peridot (Green) House emerged the overall winner of this year’s edition of Mahnatez International School Inter-House Sports Competition.
The sporting event was characterized by lots of interesting activities, including a fashion parade, where culture meets style, match past, and games such as 4×400m Relay Race, 200m, 100m, 50m, Fill in the Bucket, Slippers and Sack Race, and Tug of War, all by boys and girls.
