MAPOLY Suspends 19 Students Over Exam Malpractices

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere in Ogun State has suspended no fewer than 19 students over examination malpractices while two other students were given warning letters to desist from such illegality.

Four of the suspended students will be on suspension for two semesters, while the remaining 15 were suspended for four semesters.

This was according to a statement on Monday from the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Yemi Ajibola.

Ajibola had attributed the disciplinary measures to the decision of the Examination Misconduct Panel.

“The report showed a drastic reduction in the number of students’ involvement in examination malpractices when compared with the previous reports on the same issue.

“This shows that the efforts of the management of the Ogun State Government-owned foremost tertiary institution on sensitization against examination malpractices and moulding the students for acceptance in the labour market are yielding positive results

“It shows that in the near future, there will be no students in MAPOLY who will be involved in such illegal activities,” he said.
