Boye Nation Concert

‎Organizers of the highly anticipated Boye Nation Concert have announced Monday, September 21, 2026, as the new date for the political and entertainment event scheduled to take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The organizers said the date adjustment was necessary to accommodate a major political gathering and ensure improved logistics, participation and overall turnout.

The Boye Nation Concert is expected to feature more than 20 prominent musicians cutting across different genres, combining entertainment with political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

A major highlight of the Boye Nation Concert will be the expected defection of loyalists of former Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Allied People’s Movement (APM).

‎The decampees are reportedly being led by Ajiboye Akande Sangogade, an aide to the former minister who is popularly known as Boye Nation.

‎The development was disclosed during a media parley held at the Jericho campaign office of the APM governorship candidate in Oyo State, Mr. Bimbo Adekanbi.

Members of the organizing committee said Governor Seyi Makinde is expected to attend the Boye Nation Concert in person.

They described the event as an important platform for welcoming the Boye Nation group into the APM family and strengthening political mobilisation across Oyo State.

“This adjustment will allow us to deliver a world-class experience while also providing a platform to welcome the Boye Nation group into the APM family by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde,” the organizers said.

The APM Chairman in Oyo State, Otunba Fagbemi Adegbenro, welcomed the Boye Nation group and pledged that an APM administration would establish an inclusive government with vibrant youths playing a prominent role.

Adegbenro also urged party members, support groups and voters to intensify their mobilisation efforts to secure victory for the APM in Oyo State and across Nigeria.

Other members of the organizing team who addressed journalists at the media parley included Oyo APM spokesman Michael Ogunsina; sports presenter Babatunde Saheed, popularly known as Mr. Sports; Ademola Adeeyo; Alhaji Oyewole Raji; and Damola Omiyale.

They said the Boye Nation Concert would provide a major boost to the aspirations of APM candidates in Oyo State while creating an avenue for different political stakeholders and support groups to strengthen their collaboration.

According to them, the collaboration involving Ajiboye Sangogade, popularly known as Boye Nation, and Otunba Seye Famojuro is aimed at strengthening the APM’s political structure and mobilisation efforts in Oyo State and beyond.

The organizers appealed to journalists, media practitioners and bloggers to provide extensive coverage of the Boye Nation Concert before, during and after the event.

They said the concert is designed not only as an entertainment programme but also as a platform for strengthening relationships among stakeholders and advancing the political activities and mobilisation strategy of the APM.

With more than 20 musicians expected to perform and the anticipated arrival of political defectors, the Boye Nation Concert is shaping up as a major political and entertainment gathering in Oyo State.
