Oyo APC Elects New Exco As Ex-DG, Adeyemo Becomes Chairman

The All Progressives Congress in Oyo State has elected the former Deputy Governor, Moses Alake Adeyemo as the new state party Chairman.

Adeyemo, along with 33 other executive members were elected at the congress held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke-Ado, Ibadan on Tuesday.

The new Chairman, who is from Ogbooro, Saki East East Local Government emerged through a consensus arrangement. He was the Deputy Governor of the state to late Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

The announcement was made by Afeez Bolaji (Repete), a former APC National Youth Leader and secretary of the party’s ad hoc zoning committee, under the supervision of the congress committee set up by the national leadership of the party in Abuja.
