Following the recommendations of a 7-man panel inaugurated by the Chief Justice of Oyo State, the Oyo State House of Assembly has announced the removal of the state Deputy Governor, Engr Rauf Olaniyan.
The announcement was made on Monday after the House adopted the recommendations of the report read by the Majority Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin.
The panel was set up to investigate allegations levelled Against the Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan.
The motion for adoption of the report was moved by Hon. Sunkami Babalola from Egbeda state constituency and seconded by Hon. Babajide Gabriel from Ibadan North state constituency.
