The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), has urged young women to embrace integrity and hard work while shunning corruption during the AGG Leadership Exposure Programme graduation in Abuja.

The Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, gave the charge during a graduation ceremony for the African Girl Guide (AGG) 12-Week Leadership Exposure Programme in Abuja.
Mr. Olukoyede, represented by Assistant Commander, ACE II Aisha Mohammed, highlighted the significance of directing creative energy toward national development. He noted that the training the graduates received would empower them to make positive contributions to society.
“The theme of the program is precisely what Nigeria needs,” Olukoyede stated. “In EFCC, we combat the ‘yahoo yahoo’ culture and the ‘get-rich-quick’ mentality that is undermining many of our youth.” He outlined the need for young women to serve as role models in promoting ethical standards in their communities.
As the graduation marked a significant milestone for the participants, the EFCC’s call to shun corruption resonates deeply within the nation’s quest for integrity and progress. The commission remains committed to educating young people about the detrimental effects of corruption and the importance of hard work and perseverance.
Part of the highpoint of the programme was the award of Distinguished Integrity and Legacy Advocacy bestowed on Olukoyede in recognition of his outstanding commitment to integrity, ethical leadership, accountability, and valuable contribution to inspiring young women to becoming principled and responsible leaders through the African Girl Guide.
