President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Engr. Bisoye Coker-Odusote as Director General for the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
The President also confirmed Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub as Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC).
This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday.
The appointment of Engr. Coker-Odusote was followed the expiration of tenure of Engr. Aliyu Abubakar Aziz, who has been directed to proceed on 90-day pre-retirement leave.
Engr. Bisoye Coker-Odusote is to serve as the Acting Director-General/CEO of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) for a period of three months, with effect from August 24, 2023, before her confirmation as a substantive NIMC Director-General.
While Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub will replace Dr.Pius Osunyikanmi as Director of the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC).
The four years tenure of Dr. Osunyikanmi has expired in August 24, 2023.
This appointments according to the state take immediate effect.
Engr. Bisoye Coker-Odusote was a former Special Adviser to Bola Tinubu on Technology.
She was also former Head IT and Communications, Bate Liwin and former Director, APC National Database Project Director.
