The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Atakumosa Central East Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon. Gbenga Ogbara has been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen.
It was learnt that Ogbara was killed at about 12:30am in his house.
The Police Spokeswoman, Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed the development on behalf of the command, said that the command has moved to unravel the circumstances leading to the killing.
According to Opalola, “the APC Chairman was killed around 12am by some gunmen. Policemen have since been deployed to the area. Investigation is ongoing on the matter. The criminals will not escape justice.”
