Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has commended the members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oluyole Local Government for conducting themselves peacefully during the just concluded Ward Congress.
The lawmaker, who is representing Oluyole Federal Constituency thanked the participants across wards in within the constituency for their tenacity to maintain peace in spite of provocation.
Hon. Tolu Akande-Sadipe, however, berated the troublesome nature of some elements who tried to cause trouble during the congress.
According the statement by her Media Assistant, Olamilekan Olusada, lawmaker said, “Inspite of the elements who tried to ferment trouble, we thank God no live was lost during the APC party Ward Congress in Oluyole.
“As per eye witness accounts, in some wards some troublesome elements, whose popularity had waned over time, came with an ulterior motive, brandishing guns, in an attempt to disrupt and kill, but all glory to God their attempt to cause unforetold mayhem failed”, she said.
APC Congresses were held across the Nation today, this will usher in new executive at ward level across the Country.
