As the 2026 Ramadan season comes to a close, the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has felicitated Muslims in Oyo State and across Nigeria.
Governor Makinde lauded them for their sacrifice, perseverance, and commitment during the 30-day fasting period.
The felicitation message was contained in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
The governor charged the Muslim faithful to use the opportunity presented by the Eid-el-Fitri to seek God’s face and guidance, and to pray for the leadership of Oyo State and Nigeria.
He equally urged them to be observant and cautious during the festivities, ensuring that they pay close attention to their environments and report any suspicious movement or activity to the appropriate security agencies.
