The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose and the former Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu from the party.
Also expelled were Adeyemi Ajibade, SAN,, Umr Bature, Mohammed Abdulrahman, Mao Ohuabunwa and Austin Nwachukwu
Others include Abraham Amah, George Turner and Chief Dan Orbih
The announcement of their expulsion was contained in a motion moved by the party chieftain, Chief Olabode George and seconded by the Chairman, of Bauchi State chapter of the party, Samaila Burga.
Wike, who was the former Governor of Rivers State and 10 others were suspended during the party’s elective National Convention in Ibadan on Saturday.
According to the motion moved by Chief Olabode George, Wike and others were expelled over anti-party activities and attempted to stop the party convention through the court.
“The persons mentioned above have committed various breaches of the party’s constitution including supporting and canvassing votes for opposition.”
