Osun State governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke has received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission on Wednesday.
INEC presented the certificate to Adeleke almost 72 hours after defeating the incumbent governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adeleke polled 403, 371 votes to defeat Oyetola, who received 375,027 votes.
The certificate was presented by the INEC National Commissioner, Supervising Osun, Ogun, and Oyo states, Prof. Kunle Ajayi at Osun State INEC head office, Osogbo.
Also receiving the Certificate of Return was the deputy governor-elect, Prince Kola Adewusi.
In his acceptance speech, Adeleke dedicated his victory to the memory of his late elder brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, and the people of the Osun State.
