After one night at the custody of bandits, Emir of Kajuru, Alhassan Adamu has regained his freedom.
This was confirmed by the authorities on Monday. He was released at about 5 pm.
However, the other 13 members of his family are still in captivity of the bandits.
A top official of the Kajuru Local Government area confirmed the release of the 85-year-old traditional ruler.
Also confirmed the release of the Emir, was the spokesman of the Kajuru Emirate council, Dahiru Abubakar.
He said Emir Adamu was released at an undisclosed location within the council area. added the emir is in good and stable condition.
