*Holds Ramadan Lecture
Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) Oyo State chapter has lined up a double lectures, one is to commemorate the 2021 Ramadan and second one is to celebrate the association National Day celebration.
Both lectures are scheduled to host on Thursday, 29th and Friday, 30th April, 2021 respectively.
The Topic for the Ramadan lecture according to FIBAN Chairman, Awodele Oluseun is: Unity in Diversity and Religious Tolerance as Taught by Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW), slated for 10:00am at Jogor Centre, Ibadan.
The lecture is expected to be delivered by a popular Ilorin-based Islamic cleric, Alhaji Uthman Sannu Sheu.
While the second lecture which is to celebrate the association’s National Day will take place at Music House, Challenge Ibadan by 10:00am. It was designed to remember the departed heroes of the association.
Notable among those to be honoured include late Prince Gbenga Adeboye, late Chief Toba Opaleye and late Chief Kola Olawuyi among others.
Expected to deliver a lecture is the Oyo State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Barr. Mutiu Agboke on title, “The Role of Broadcasters in Political and Electoral Development of Nigeria.” Also, a lecture on “Broadcasters and the Culture of Peace” will be delivered by Hon. Femi Adebisi JP.
Dignitaries expected at the events include the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism in Oyo State, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun, owner of Fresh FM Nigeria, Dr Yinka Ayefele, the Publisher of Parrot Xtra Magazine, Olayinka Agboola, Amb. Romoke Ayinde (Kayrom Lee) among others.
