She called on Nigerians to inculcate the lessons and teachings of Ramadan in their daily life adding that this will help rid the country of the various social vices which have pervaded every nook and cranny of the nation.

“The onus lies on everyone to imbibe the teachings of the glorious month of Ramadan. We attended and organized various religious gatherings, participated in several acts of worship and righteousness in our homes and our mosques, we shared our foods with our neighbors and the needy and there was solemnity everywhere. We should let the spirit continue. At this stage in our country, we all must rise up to say no to all forms of social maladies and maladministration. May Allah heal our lands,” Oyo Amirah FOMWAN prayed.

The statement also congratulated the national body of the Association led by Hajia Rafi’ah Idowu Sanni on this year’s Ramadan.
