The youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has humiliated the Chairman of the Committee of Oyo @50 anniversary, Hon. Saheed Fijabi by walking him out of the party Youth Summit.
This is followed by his alleged romance with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, which the youth considered to be doubled standard.
Hon. Saheed Fijabi was caught on camera chasing out of the 2025 Youth Summit held at Civic Centre, Ibadan.
The programme, which is currently ongoing is tagged “Oyo State Today and Tomorrow”.
It will be recalled that the Governor of the state, Engr. Seyi Makinde appointed Hon. Fijabi as the Chairman of the Oyo State 50th anniversary of the state creation.
Also, the father of the former Federal House of Representatives member, who is one of the chiefs in Ibadanland, Chief Ismail Akinade Fijabi had seen on several occasions openly speaking against the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State.
Immediately Fijabi entered the hall, aggrieved youths began chanting statements such as ‘We don’t want him’ and ‘Send him out of this place,’ creating a rowdy atmosphere that disrupted proceedings.
Despite attempts to calm the situation, the chants intensified, forcing some APC members to escort ex-lawmaker out of the venue amid continued protests.
