The popular Fuji maestro, King Saheed Akorede has revealed what transpired that led to face-off between him and a renowned radio presenter, Kola Olootu.
Osupa, as he is fondly called, in a video with his ‘old-time friend’, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, disclosed that Kola Olootu ‘missed his target’ when he attempted to use what his engagement with Governor Seyi Makinde to discredit him on his programme.
The Fuji super star, who reiterated that he has no intention to reply all what Kola Olootu has been saying on his programme and social media, said that he has never been a liability to Kola Olootu rather he performed for him free of charge to show how much he respected him.
Osupa cautioned the people he said are using the name of late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister to cause rancor in the Fuji industry to stop or face the wrath of God.
“Barrister was a role model to all Fuji artists, and this is due to his efforts and contributions to the Fuji industry. Since his death they will bring issues or topics to portray his name negatively. They should allow him to rest.
“If it he was to be their father, won’t they allow him to rest, King Saheed Osupa queried?
“I don’t want to react to all these before, however, I have to let him know that nobody has the monopoly of it. I used to play for him for free.
The Fuji super star alleged that Kola Olootu wanted to use the issue between him and Governor Seyi Makinde to discredit him, which he could not accept.
“A whole Governor was waiting at an event, does the governor have the time? I have to apologize, and I even realized almost four million naira from him on that day (#4m), please, what else am I looking for?
“Then, you went on air to castigate and portray me as a brave less man, that I am this, I am that. And I called him several times, he ignored my calls before I reported him to one of his allies. Since that time he has developed hatred towards me.
“And I have also prepared for him because it is going to be tit for tat,” King Saheed Osupa said.
