13 Years After, NYSC Reopens Borno State’s Orientation Camp

Following the closure of the Borno State Orientation Camp, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) reopened it after 13 years.

The three-week course at the camp was suspended following recurring attacks by Boko Haram insurgents.

This was contained in the message displayed on the NYSC Twitter handle on Tuesday.

NYSC notified the prospective corps members deployed to the state’s second stream of the Batch ‘B’ orientation course of a change of venue.

According to the tweet, “All Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) deployed to Borno are to reprint their Call-up letters from the NYSC portal.

“The date of the commencement of the Orientation Course has also been changed to 18th August 2023. All affected PCMs are to report on the dates printed on their Call-up letters.
