The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the son of former governor of Oyo State, Olamiju Alao Akala and Alhaji Najeemdeen Oyedeji as the winners of the House of Representatives seats in Ogbomoso/North/South/Oriire Federal Constituency and Itesiwaju/Iseyin/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency
Olamijuwonlo Akala of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 33,268 votes to defeat Olufemi Onireti of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after he scored 27,126 votes.
Alhaji Najeemdeen Oyedeji of PDP scored 30,372 votes to defeat the son of former APC chieftain, Soliu Abu Gbadamosi of APC who polled 28,821.
