All arrangements have been completed for the commencement of Tegbe Under 21 Gold Cup Championship in Oyo State.
The registration for the competition has commenced on Thursday, 29th of August, 2022.
Sequel to this, the organizers, the Community Stars Football Limited and the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), Oyo State chapter, have presented the trophy to the donor and sponsor of the competition, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, who is also the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo South Senatorial District.
The draws for the competition according to the organizers, Mr. Adeyemo Ayodeji, will come up on 11th September, 2022.
In attendance during the presentation of the trophy include the donor, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Hon. Adeniyi Kazim (Bibire), who is also the Special Adviser to Governor on Local Government And Chieftaincy Matters, Mr. Adeyemo Charles Ayodeji and members of the executives of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Oyo State chapter.
The purpose of the football competition, according to the sponsor, Joseph Tegbe into ensure youth engagement, development and empowerment through Sports, football to be precise.
The PDP Oyo South Senatorial candidate noted further that relevant stakeholders like coaches, referees, football entrepreneurs and investors will benefit from the championship.
