As the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde continues to bask in the euphoria of his 54th birthday celebration, the Speaker of the state’s Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has sent his congratulatory message to the Governor, wishing him many more fruitful years ahead.
Hon. Ogundoyin, in a birthday message to the Governor, said it was a grand design by God that Engr Makinde was born on the 25th of December.
According to him, this is why God has blessed the governor with a midas touch which is evidence in the rapid transformation and development being witnessed in Oyo State.
According to the Speaker, “Hearty congratulations to our amiable Governor on his birthday. Many happy returns of the day. Thanks for being a leader with complete honour and integrity. I am wishing you many more years of service to Oyo state in sound health, mind and longevity
“Through your people and development driven agenda, the pacesetter state has already been transformed. Oyo State is becoming a model for good governance and purposeful leadership in the country. You are indeed exceptional and inspirational,” Hon. Ogundoyin said.
While stating that the life of the Governor Seyi Makinde had been impactful even before he became the Governor, the Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker stressed that his selfless and unassuming disposition as the number one citizen in the state has endeared millions of people to him.
Hon. Ogundoyin prayed God to assist the governor in actualizing all his lofty dreams and plans for Oyo State.
