Arc Hassan Giwa

Founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has explained reasons Nigerians should keep hope alive for a better country.

Giwa, in his congratulatory message to Nigerians within and abroad on the occasion of Nigeria’s Independence Day, stated that Nigeria has witnessed situations that are more terrible than the one we are facing currently.

While acknowledging the high rate of insecurity and poverty in the land, he, however, prayed that the country should not witness war.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of AMRON Global Services Limited, “there are more reasons for Nigerians to celebrate especially on the Independence Day, though there is insecurity in the land, there is poverty in the land, as well as high rate of unemployment but there is no war.

“Nigeria is blessed with both human and natural resources that are enough to make it one of the biggest countries in the whole world but they are underutilized.

“Together we can make this country great again, together we can address insecurity, together we can solve unemployment challenges, and together we can change the current status of poverty to that of prosperity.

“My appeal to all Nigerians irrespective of position is to put behind us all tribal, ethnic, and religious sentiments and jointly focus on what will bring unity, peace and progress to our dear nation, Nigeria. We should keep hope alive and believe that there is going to be light at the end of all the challenges,” Giwa said.
