The governor of Ogun State, Dapo Aboodun has on Monday lost his father, Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun, at age of 89.
The announcement was contained in a statement released by the family on Monday in Iperu-Remo, said that the deceased, Dr. Abiodun passed on at the age of 89 after a brief illness.
The statement described late Dr. Abiodun as a devout Christian, an educationist, who worked as a school teacher for many years across the old Western States and was fondly called “Baba Teacher”. That was due to his dedication to the duty of imparting knowledge and inculcating the right values in his students.
Dr. Abiodun is survived by his wife, Mrs. Victoria Abiodun, many children, amongst them the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR), grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family members.
