The All Progressives Congress House of Assembly candidate for Lagelu State Constituency, Arc. Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG), has felicitated Hon. Bashorun Taofeek Arowomole, former Chairman of Lagelu Local Government and ex-officio of the party in Oyo State, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a birthday message made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Tuesday, Arc Giwa described Arowomole as a committed grassroots politician, a bridge-builder, and a loyal party man whose contributions to the growth of the APC in Lagelu and Oyo State as a whole remain remarkable.
He noted that Hon. Arowomole, during his tenure as Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, demonstrated purposeful leadership, transparency, and dedication to the welfare of the people.
“Hon. Arowomole is a man of integrity, capacity and uncommon commitment to service. His leadership at the local government level and his role as an ex-officio of our great party in Oyo State speak volumes of his love for the people and the APC,” Giwa stated.
The APC candidate further acknowledged the pivotal role played by Arowomole in his emergence as the party’s flag bearer for Lagelu State Constituency. He said the former council boss provided guidance, encouragement, and political support during the process that led to the primary election.
“Bashorun Arowomole stood by me, offered sincere counsel, and used his influence to ensure that the right thing was done within the party. His support was instrumental to me securing the APC ticket. I remain grateful for his fatherly role,” Giwa added.
The APC Lagelu State Constituency candidate prayed that God would grant the celebrant good health, wisdom, and more years of impactful service to humanity and the party.
He also wished Arowomole greater exploits as he marks another year, adding that the party and people of Oyo State would continue to benefit from his wealth of experience.
