OYHA Commission Chairman, Okedoyin Presents Annual Report, Pledges Enhanced Performances

The Chairman,  Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission,  Hon. Julius Okedoyin has assured that the Commission will not relent in its continuous  efforts to ensure adequate improvements and service delivery in the State legislative arm of the State.

‎Hon. Okedoyin started this during the an interview with pressmen shortly after the presentation of 2025 Annual Report of the commission before the state legislators at a plenary presided over by the Speaker, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin.

The Chairman stated that the Commission has made tremendous progress that has brought changes to every sector of the State Assembly, building inorder to enhance productivity and efficiency in the system.

According to him, the Commission is responsible for the overseeing of the affairs of the State legislative members of staff,  hence the need to ensure continuous personnel development for better delivery.

‎”The Commission under my leadership has remained committed to building a strong, ethical, and professional legislative service that supports and advances the ideals of effective lawmaking. Our goal is to ensure that the Oyo State House of Assembly continues to rank among the best legislative institution in Nigeria, not just in terms of policy outcomes but also in service delivery, administrative structure, and staff capacity. I am proud to report that in the past year, we have made significant strides towards this goal,” Hon. Okedoyin declared.

‎”I am pleased to inform you that staff of the commission have benefited from various capacity-building  programmes,  including training, seminars, and workshops aimed at enhancing their skills, efficiency, and understanding of legislative processes.

‎”This intervention has significantly boosted individual performances and strengthened the institutional capacity of the Commission,” he stated.

‎The Chairman noted that as welfare of the workforce remained a top priority,  with prompt efforts to improve working conditions and ensure timely entitlement,  the transfer of service and conversion of staff have also been approved, reflecting the commissions commitment to career progression and staff development across all cadres.

‎While appreciating the state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin and the lawmakers for their support to the Commission,  the Chairman commended all the four Commissioners in the Commission for their spirit of team work and dedication which pave the  way for easy achievement in a short period.
