In an effort to ensure economic growth and development in the region, governors across the South West will meet in Lagos State.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State will host his colleagues governors at Lagos House, Ikeja, on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
According to the release by the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy, the South West Governors’ Forum will discuss issues of common interest at the parley.
The Forum will discuss agriculture and food security to advance economic growth, foster collaboration, and enhance development initiatives in the Zone, adding that issues having to do with the security of lives and property would also be part of the agenda.
It would be recalled that a similar meeting was held in Lagos on June 10, 2024 when Governor Sanwo-Olu was unanimously appointed as Chairman of the Forum.
