Nigeria’s Afro Hip-Hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola (Portable) has slammed Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid and David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido for relying on social media drama to trend.

Portable, in his reaction to the escalating feud between Wizkid and Davido, urged both to concentrate on creating good music.

The feud, which began on October 1 after Wizkid posted a cryptic tweet following Davido’s teaser of his upcoming 2024 single, quickly turned into a social media battle, with both artists exchanging personal insults.

Wizkid, set to release the first track of his “Morayo” album, was also mocked by Davido’s associate, Black Tycoone, for the delay. Responding, Wizkid threw shade at Davido’s camp, further intensifying the rivalry.

Habeeb, on his Instagram post, accused both artists of using their differences for publicity as their music no longer dominates the charts.

Portable also made it clear that he isn’t siding with either artist, stating, “I dey for myself. That’s why I dey for those who dey for me.”
