The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc Hassan Giwa has charged Nigerians irrespective of position, political class and ethnic sentiment to raise the bars of patriotism and humanity.
The renowned philanthropist also called on them to be more benevolence in their relationship to one another with the focus on making the country a better place to live
Giwa gave the charge in his message on occasion of the Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.
He disclosed that the fastest way to put Nigeria back on the track of development and affluence among the committee of nations, is for every citizen to raise the bar of his patriotism and humanity.
He said that improving on the level of patriotism to one’s fatherland will go a long way in changing the perspective, the mindset, beliefs, narrative and general orientation.
“It takes a person or group of persons with heart of humanity to make laws, decisions and policies that will enhance life of the majority and better the country. It is also takes the majority of people with heart of humanity to obey the laws of the land, perform their obligations as expected to dear fatherland and pray for their leaders to make the country worth living.”
Arc Giwa emphasized that for Nigeria to reach the peak we are all expecting it, we must be ready to join hands together either as leaders or as followers to do everything within our capacity and make it a better place to live.
While giving the hope of better Nigeria, he solicited support and cooperation especially from the youth for the present administration in the country to deliver on its campaign promises to the people.
