The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadan Land, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa has been honoured with a Business and Community Impact Award by an Ibadan-based media organization, Happy People Magazine.
The award, according to the Publisher of the Magazine, Oludotun Ajibola, is in recognition of his contributions towards the development of business environment and community growth in Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
He acknowledged Arc Hassan Giwa as a friend of the organization, who has contributed to the development of the media outfit particulary in 2019 when the organization held its campaign against child abuse (Walk Against Child Abuse).
In his appreciaton to the organizer, Arc Giwa, urged him to continue the good work he has started particularly in the media and entertainment sectors.
The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation dedicated the award to youths in Ibadan and Oyo State at large.
“This is for the youth in Ibadan and Oyo State at large!
“I have made a pledge to always contribute to the development of our society through youth empowerment.
“I commend Oludotun Ajibola, the Publisher of Happy People Magazine for his spirited effort towards the development of the entertainment and media sectors.
“In 2019, through our foundation, Hassan Olawale Giwa, we supported his mission on his pet project, ‘Walk Against Child Abuse’ because we believe human development.
“This year, he found us worthy by honouring us with BUSINESS and COMMUNITY IMPACT AWARD. He acknowledged our efforts in supporting every step leading to development; we say a big thank you to Happy People Magazine.
“We took a moment to enjoin other youths in Ibadan and Oyo State to remain focused in the face of adversity because there is always light at the end of the tunnel.”
Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa alongside three members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yinka Omikunle, Hon. Abiodun Babalola and Hon. Fowokanmi Adebayo, as well as Engr. Babatunde Azeez, who is the Managing Director of Vatel Group among several others, was honoured at the 1oth year anniversary of the media organization.
