“I wept immediately when I discovered we didn’t make it. It’s been a long time that I felt so sad but I must praise you for your commitment and doggedness, even though I still believe that little mistakes cost us our main target,” said the ex-international.
The FIFA U-17 and U-20 World Cup silver medalists, urged the players, especially those who will still be with the team, to get prepared for the next season, with the sole aim of winning silverware come next season.
“For those who will still be with this team next season, I want to task you to brace up for a more rewarding campaign and for those who will be leaving, make sure you make a positive impact wherever. I wish you all the best”.
