Asiwaju Adini Congratulates Muslims, Urges Deeper Connection With God

The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has congratulated Muslims in Lagelu Local Government, Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole, on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement from his media office, Asiwaju Adini wished the Muslim ummah a blessed and peaceful Ramadan.

The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation urged them to use the Ramadan period to seek spiritual growth, forgiveness, and a deeper connection with Almighty Allah. Arc Giwa also called for good neighborliness, irrespective of tribe and ethnic background.

“I congratulate all our Muslim friends, brothers, and sisters on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. I extend my greetings to my father, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulganiyy Agbotomokekere, and the entire Imam-in-Council, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, Aare Musulumi of Ibadanland, Chief Dauda Makanjuola Akinola, Babasaale Musulumi of Ibadanland, Chief Nureni Akanbi, and other prominent Muslim preachers and scholars in Ibadan and, by extension, Oyo State, who have dedicated their lives to spreading the teachings of Islam.

“I wish all our Muslim friends, brothers, and sisters a blessed and peaceful Ramadan. I implore every Muslim to seek spiritual growth, forgiveness, and a deeper connection with Allah. Let us be our brothers’ keepers by sharing the blessings that Almighty Allah has bestowed upon us with the people around us.

“May Allah bless and guide us in our efforts to promote peace, understanding, and unity among Muslims and non-Muslims alike, and may our fasting, prayers, and good deeds be accepted, and may we emerge from this month with a renewed sense of purpose and joy,” Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc Hassan Giwa prayed.
