Following the successful demonstration of renewed strength, peace, and unity at Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency Unity Rally by the stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Oyo State, the House of Assembly aspirant in Lagelu state constituency, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has expressed the readiness of the party to speak with one voice and common vision.
Arc Giwa appreciated the massive turnout of the state party faithful, supporters, and loyalists, who thronged the venue and turned it into a hub of political activities to rally support for the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu.
The rally, organized by the Akinyele–Lagelu Federal Constituency, was aimed at consolidating support for the President and boosting the party’s electoral fortunes in Oyo State.
Giwa, who is the founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, described the Unity Rally as a clear show of unity and renewed commitment to the party in Oyo State. He emphasized that all factions within the APC in Oyo State have resolved their differences, stressing that the party now speaks with one voice and shares a common vision and direction ahead of future elections.
The rally also featured the Oyo State Renewed Hope Ambassadors, who pledged to intensify grassroots mobilization in line with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, with a focus on strengthening the party’s presence across communities in the state.
Prominent APC leaders at the event included Senator Teslim Folarin, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Chief Bayo Adelabu, Sen. Sharafadeen Ali, Sen. Yunus Akintunde, Senator Fatai Buhari, Barr Iyiola Oladokun, Sen. Ayoade Adeseun, Chief Kunle Sanda, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, Hon. Wasiu Akinmoyede, alongside other notable party stalwarts.
While charging party members to sustain the unity displayed at the rally and work collectively towards increasing President Bola Tinubu’s vote count in Oyo State, they described unity as the party’s strongest weapon for electoral success.
The unity rally ended on a note of optimism, with party leaders expressing confidence that a united APC would deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Oyo State.
