APC Chieftain, Hassan Giwa Mobilizes Lagelu North For CVR Exercise With 1.5m

In order to ensure that eligible indigenes and residents participate in the electoral process, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has mobilized party leaders and chairmen in Lagelu North with the sum of 1.5 million naira.

This, according to him, is to ensure that people take full advantage of the exercise to participate in the 2027 general elections.

Arc Giwa, while speaking with journalists in Ibadan after the meeting with APC leaders and chairmen in the zone, appreciated the party stalwarts in the zone for their leadership quality.

Some of the leaders and chairmen in attendance at the meeting include Hon. Tayo OyetunjiHon. Femi AkintundeChief. Segun AjuwonHon. Remi AdebayoHon. Debo Arowomole, and Hon. Wale Olomo.

Others were Pa Peter Dairo, Hon. Kehinde Adeleke, Mr. Ademola Turkey, Hon. Julius Olaoye, Hon. Dayo Makanjuola, Hon. Sogo banjo and Mr. Semiu Oyeleke.

Lagelu North consisted of wards 2, 6, 11, 12 and 13.

The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation disclosed that the financial support of N1.5 million is to encourage the work the leaders, chairmen and members of party are doing and to mobilize more people to participate and register in the Continuous Voters Registration (CRV) exercise.  

He disclosed that the Continuous Voter Registration (CRV) exercise is a democratic responsibility to participate in the country’s electoral process particularly as the 2027 general election is approaching.

Giwa maintained that the exercise will enable first-time voters to register and ensure that those that have registered collect their Permanent Voters’ Cards, while those that have relocated will have the opportunity to transfer theirs to their current residential areas.

While urging the leaders, chairmen and all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagelu North not to relent on their oars in ensuring that more people are captured to registered, assured them that he will continue to extend his support not only to the zone but the entire Lagelu Local Government.
