
The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has congratulated the APC chieftain, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle and former House of Representatives member, Hon. Ibrahim Olaifa following their nominations into the newly established South West Development Commission (SWDC).
Ibikunle was nominated as a Executive Director, Commercial and Environmental, while Hon. Olaifa was nominated as a member of the Commission.
Prior to their appointment, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle was the Chairman, National Lottery Regulation Commission (NLRC) and Hon. Olaifa was a former House of Representatives member, he represented Oluyole federal constituency.
In his congratulatory message to the nominees, Arc Giwa described their nominations as round pegs in the right holes.
He disclosed that their wealth of experience will serve as an important tool in the speedy development of the Commission.
The APC stalwart said Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, having served as aide to two executive governors in Oyo State, will be an asset to the newly established Commission. While on the other hand, Hon. Ibrahim Olaifa, a one time House of Representative member, is also in the best position to utilize his legislative experience for the development of the Commission.
Arc Giwa appreciated President Bola Tinubu for finding both nominees from Oyo State worthy to be founding appointees of the Commission.
