Following his elevation in the Ibadanland chieftaincy lineage to the prestigious Aare Alaasa of Ibadanland, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Arc Hassan Giwa has congratulated Senator Teslim Folarin on the new achievement.
Senator Folarin was installed as Aare Alaasa by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on Friday.
In his felicitation message to the newly installed Aare Alaasa, Arc Giwa, who is also the Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, said that the promotion of Senator Folarin indicated his commitment to the progress and development of Ibadanland.
“My heartfelt congratulations to the newly conferred Aare Alaasa of Ibadanland, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, it is a well-deserved honour.
“It demonstrated your commitment to the progress and development of Ibadanland. It is recognition of selfless service and a call for more duty and dedication to the visions of the great ancestors of Ibadanland.
“I pray for more wisdom, knowledge and understanding for the mint Aare Alaasa of Ibadanland, Senator Teslim Folarin to pilot the course of these new responsibilities.
“I appreciated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, Ige Olakulehin 1 and the entire Olubadan-in-Council, for their efforts in sustaining the peace and peaceful coexistence in Ibadanland,” Arc Giwa said.
