Local government chairmen elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State have given the council workers three days ultimatum to return to work.
The order came after they returned to their council secretariats on Monday under heavy security.
Former Special Adviser to ex-Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Education, Jamiu Olawumi, confirmed the development.
He disclosed that APC chairmen and councillors had resumed across all 30 local government areas.
“Most of the chairmen have issued press releases this morning instructing their workers to resume by Wednesday at the latest. After Wednesday, if they fail to return, their employment status will be determined. The ultimatum stands at 72 hours.”
