A Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan South West state constituency 2, Hon. Oluwafemi Fowokanmi Adebayo has bagged the Solution FM’s Outstanding Lawmaker of the Year Award.
Hon. Fowokanmi Adebayo is the Chairman, House Committee on Tertiary Education in the state House of Assembly.
The event will mark the second time in the year, where the lawmaker will be honoured with media Outstanding Award.
It will be recalled that he was honoured with Happy People Magazine’s Outstanding Lawmaker of the Year in August.
It was an exciting moment of joy, bond and recognition of people’s contributions to the growth and development of humanity at Aweni Arena, Oke-Ado, venue of Solution FM Award Night.
The event is the maiden edition of the media outfit.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, Hon. Adebayo urged the people to at every point in time give their best in whatever they do.
“You will wonder that people are really watching you, and this is a sign that if you’re doing well, people watch you, that’s why I look for avenue to be a blessing to our people, which I have been doing and I will continue to do.
“In any position you find yourself, it’s a privilege to serve, do it wholeheartedly, and bear in mind that there is a record for every activity you’re doing. Aspire to be a blessing, let men be lifted through you”
Earlier in his address, the Chairman/CEO Solutions, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, said the award ceremony would be an annual event, adding that it is part of the uniqueness of the radio station in the media industry.
