The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has been honoured by the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) in the state with Exemplary Leadership and Humanitarian Service Award.
The award according to the NUT is to recognize the Speaker for his outstanding contributions to education and humanity through quality legislation.
The award was presented by the state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on behalf of the teachers at the 2024 World Teachers’ Day celebration in Ibadan.
In his response, Hon. Ogundoyin expressed gratitude to the teachers in the state for the esteemed recognition.
“I am deeply humbled and honored to receive this prestigious Exemplary Leadership and Humanitarian Service Award from the Oyo State Wing of the Nigerian Union of Teachers NUT. This recognition is not just a testament to my commitment to education and humanity, but also a validation of the collective efforts of the Oyo State House of Assembly in supporting and promoting legislation that will enhance the welfare of teachers and the development of our education sector.
