The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has congratulated the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on his coronation today.
Hon. Ogundoyin in a message, described the coronation of Oba Olakulehin as a significant milestone in the history of Ibadanland.
The Speaker noted that the new Olubadan’s wealth of experience and wisdom would bring immense benefits to the people of Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole.
“I heartily congratulate the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on his coronation today. This is a momentous occasion for Ibadanland and Oyo State, and I am confident that Oba Olakulehin’s reign would usher in a new era of peace, progress, and prosperity for our people.”
Hon. Ogundoyin also praised the peaceful and successful transition of power, which he said was a testament to the rich cultural heritage and tradition of Ibadanland.
The Speaker, who is also the Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, expressed his commitment to working closely with the new Olubadan to advance the interests of Ibadanland and Oyo State.
“Once again, I congratulate Oba Olakulehin on his coronation and wish him a successful and impactful reign. I look forward to working with him to drive development and growth in Ibadanland and Oyo State.
“This marks a new chapter in the history of Ibadanland, and as a legislature, we are ready to work with our traditional institutions to move Oyo State forward,” Oyo Speaker said
