The award winning actress and Nollywood superstar, Funke Akindele popularly known as Jenifa has revealed why she decided to keep distance from her ‘old time’ friend and others in the industry.
The movie director cum producer disclosed this recently in an interview on Arise TV, where she talked about her relationship with Eniola Badmus and others in the industry.
While maintaining that she is still in cordial relationship with Eniola Badmus, said she prefers to spend her leisure time with her children and siblings, who she described as her closest friends.
The producer of popular TV series, Jenifa’s Diary confirmed that she has a lot presently in her hands to deal with than to be going to party here and there.
“I run a studio, we film every year – we have content on YouTube, movies at cinemas, and on streaming platforms. I’m very busy.
“And when I’m not working, I’m sleeping, chilling with the kids, watching a movie, chilling with the family. I like being in my space.
I think my siblings are my friends. They are my friends. I have acquaintances; people that I’m cordial with, but not serious friendships like that because I’m always busy working.
“So I just get busy with work and my children, because I need to give them time. So when I’m not working, I’m with my children. I’m in my space,
“I don’t really like going to parties, I’m not a party animal,” she said.
Speaking about Eniola Badmus, Jenifa as she is fondly called, described her as a personality with a high sense of humour.
“Eniola Badmus makes me laugh. She cracks me up so much. I love to chill with her. But, we’ve been so busy with life. Everybody is doing their thing. But I’m still cordial with her, and everybody,” the actress turned politician said.
