Southern Governors Elect Dapo Abiodun As Forum Chairman

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been elected the new chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum.

Prince Abiodun emerged at a meeting of the Forum held at the Presidential Lodge, Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Meanwhile, Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo also emerged as the Vice Chairman of the Forum.

16 governors were in attendance at the meeting, except the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara

Governor Abiodun while briefing newsmen after the meeting, said it was an honour to have been nominated to lead the Southern Governors’ Forum, along with Professor Charles Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, as the Vice Chairman of this forum

The Southern Governors Forum serves as the collective body for the 17 governors from the South-West, South-South, and South-East geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
