Eid-el-Kabir: Hassan Giwa Felicitates Muslim, Charges Governments On People’s Friendly Policies

The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadan Land, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa has charged the Federal and the state governments to prioritize people’s friendly policies.

The foremost religious leader said that making people happy and extending benevolence to others in line with injunction in the Holy Quran are the importance of Eid-el-Kabir, rather than hardship as being experienced presently in the country.

The Founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation gave the advice in his felicitations message to Muslim ummah across the country on this year’s occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadan Land saluted the spirit, courage and belief of Muslim ummah and Nigerians at large in this trying time, admonishing them to be steadfast and continue to pray to Almighty Allah to bring succor in time.

He emphasized that there is a need for both the federal and the state governments to find lasting solutions to the rising cost of living by formulating policies that will bring smiles on the faces of the average Nigerians.

Hassan Giwa congratulated the Chief Imam of Ibadan Land, Sheik Abdulganiyy Agnotomokekere and his Council, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Chief Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Oyo State, Alhaji Mutiu Oladejo (Onimalu), Iya Adini Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaja Sekinat Ademola and Babasale Musulumi of Ibadan Land, Chief Nureni Akanbi and the entire Muslim brothers and sisters in Oyo State and Ibadan in particular on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

He prayed that almighty Allah will preserve their lives and others not listed above to witness many more celebrations.

While extending his greetings to all religious leaders, scholars and preachers across Oyo State, Asiwaju Adini charged them not to relent in their oars in talking the truth to the people in the position of authority especially as it concerns the economic situation and standard of living of common Nigerians.

Arc Hassan Giwa urged the Muslim ummah to always remember and imbibe the lessons of sacrifice, love and unity the Eid-el-Kabir taught in the Holy Quran.

He charged them to always be their brother’s keepers and bring happiness and pleasure to the hearts of other people.
