Usyk Defeats Fury To Become Undisputed Heavyweight Champion

Oleksandr Usyk has emerged winner of the World Heavyweight championship in fight against Tyson Fury on Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabian.

He’s Now Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion with WBA, WBC, IBF & IBO, WBO Titles in his kitty.

Oleksandr Usyk’s win over Tyson Fury will go down in history as one of the greatest moments in boxing.

The Ukrainian is now a two-weight undisputed champion and extended his unbeaten record to 22-0.

Usyk, 37, is also the first man to beat Briton Fury and is the first fighter in nearly 25 years to become undisputed at heavyweight.

Usyk after the 12 rounds bout won via split decision and now becomes the first undisputed heavyweight champion of world since Lennox Lewis a quarter-century ago.

FURY in his post-fight reaction said “I won this fight. I believe he won a few of the rounds, but I won majority of them.

“We’ve both put on a good fight. Best we could do. And, you know, his country’s at war. So people are siding with a country at war. But make no mistake, I’ve won that fight in my opinion, and I’ll be back. We’ve got a rematch clause.”
