The leadership of Oyo State-based socio-political group, Progressives Vanguard has congratulated the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Abdulfatahi Bayonle Ibikunle on this year’s occasion of his birthday celebration.
The group in a congratulatory message, extolled the Ibarapa-born political titan as a Godsent rallying point for the progressives political blocks in the state.
In a statement jointly signed by the state Coordinator and Secretary of the group, Barr. Francis Idowu Olarinre and Hon. Wasiu Ademola Suara, the assembly implored political players to imbibe the virtues of a former aide to late Governor of the state, Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina.
Olarinre stated that despite the fact he frowns against being idolized as a leader with his instituting efforts in bringing together and bridging bridges towards having a united and formidable political family, deemed him worthy to be celebrated as able leader and pathfinder,
The body prayed Almighty grant the immediate past Chairman of the National Lottery and Regulatory Commission (NLRC) more enablement in wisdom, strength and longevity to marshal the opposition APC to regain its polarized harmony and cohesion in entrenching a purposeful governance in the next electoral dispensations in Oyo State.
