The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa has joined the indigenes of the ancient city to salute the Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Senator Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Ali Akunmade II, the Olubadan of Ibadanland on the occasion of his 81st birthday anniversary.
Giwa, in his felicitation message to the first class monarch, appreciated almighty God for giving the Olubadan an opportunity to witness the series of achievements and developments Ibadan is recording during his reign.
The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation described Oba Mohood Lekan Balogun as a father, whose influence and wealth of experience has greatly helped in the recognition of the ancient city in Nigeria.
According to Giwa, “I joined all Ibadan indigenes to pay homage to our father, my father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Senator Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Ali Okunmade II, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on the occasion of his 81st birthday anniversary.
”During your tenure, Ibadan is experiencing peace, Ibadan is witnessing developments and Ibadan is recording a series of achievements. All of these are as a result of your influence, experience, knowledge and wisdom you have demonstrated to make the ancient city a city to reckon with.
“I pray for a longer life, sound health, improved knowledge and wisdom for you to lead the people and Ibadan as a whole to a greater position.
“Happy birthday, Kabieyesi, Aseyisamodun!”
