Oyo Assembly Majority Leader, Adedoyin Loses Son In Fatal Accident

The Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin has reportedly lost his son, Faith Adedoyin in a fatal accident.

Faith was one of the students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso that was involved in the accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State.

The incident, according to reports, occurred on Wednesday evening around Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo in Osun State.

The deceased, Faith Adedoyin, was the first son of Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, who is representing Ogbomoso South in the state Assembly.

According to reports, the cause of the accident is yet unknown, however, it was reported that the bus that conveyed the student caught fire while on the motion.

Confirming the development, Public Relations Officer, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Mr. Lekan Fadeyin, said the life was lost in the accident but could not confirm the numbers.

He disclosed that he is yet to receive the detailed information on the incident.

“I can confirm to you that there was an accident while some students passed on but I have not gotten the details of their identities,” the school spokesperson said.

Also, the Students’ Union President of the institution, Anuoluwa Adeboye, who also confirmed, said that the students organized an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall after their first-semester exam as part of their activities as final-year students.
