New JUSUN Chairman, Amoo Temitope Promises To Prioritize Members’ Welfare

The newly elected Chairman of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Oyo State chapter, Comrade Amoo Temitope has promised to prioritize the welfare of the members of the Union.

Comrade Amoo, who emerged winner at the keenly contested election after defeating three other candidates, called for collaboration from all members of the Union for a successful administration.

The new Chairman, in his short address, appreciated the immediate past Chairman, Comrade Kayode Martins and all the national and zonal leaders of Union for their efforts in ensuring that the elections are conducted in a peaceful and orderly manners.

Earlier in his parting speech, the immediate past Chairman, Comrade Martins, appreciated members of the Union for their support so far.

He expressed that the election is to maintain custom to allow members of JUSUN in Oyo State to elect the new executives that will paddle the affairs of the Union.

Martins urged them to perform the exercise peacefully and in the spirit of one family, saying that ‘in unionism there is no victor and there is no vanquished.’

He praised all contestants for the courage and spirit of sportsmanship demonstrated before and during the elections.

In his words of admonition, Comrade Emmanuel Abioye, who is the National Deputy President of JUSUN and Returning Officer of the elections, applauded the candidates, agents and all the members of the Union for conducting themselves in a peaceful manner throughout the voting exercise.

He charged the newly elected executives to listen and pay attention to the yarning of the people they represent, as well listen to counsel from the past leaders of the Union to guide their activities.
