
The Lawmaker representing Oluyole state constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Waheed Akintayo has paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family of Chairman and Sole Administrator of Omi Tuntun Pace Setter transport Services Limited, Hon. Ibrahim Salami (Dikko), who lost his father, Alhaji Salami Liadi Olagoke in the early hours of yesterday.
While condoling with Dikko’s family, Ilumoka Presenter, as the lawmaker fondly call, said that he received the news of the demise of late Alhaji Salami with deep shock considering the fact that his death occurred barely a month after Hon. Ibrahim Dikko’s appointment as the Chairman of Omituntun Pace Setter Transport Services Limited by Engr. Seyi Makinde.
Hon. Akintayo, who sympathised with the family, described the deceased, Dr. Liadi Olagoke Salami as an icon that made indelible mark in his career as a civil servant.
He said that the deceased was a beacon of love that epitomized humility, Godliness and his positive impact in the lives of countless people while alive was priceless.
The lawmaker enjoined Hon. Ibrahim Salami and other members of the family to take solace in the fact that their late father lived a fulfilled life, therefore, prayed that Almighty Allah accept his return and grant the family and loved ones he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Late Dr. Alhaji Salami Liadi Olagoke (a.k.a. Dikko) was a former Accountant-General of Oyo State.
