Tuition Fee: How Heavy Security Presence Shattered Plan Protest By Unilag Students

The proposed protest by the students of University of Lagos has been shattered by the presence of heavy security that manned the entrance of the institution.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) announced their plan to protest against the recent hike in tuition fees in the school on Wednesday, September 6.

Following the announcement, the authority of the institution has contacted the security operatives to forestall any attempt to break laws and order.

As early as possible, arms-wielding-policemen were spotted outside the University of Lagos, Akoka, ahead of the protesters.

Staff of the institution were passing stricter measures before they could gain access into the institution premises.
